"SASQUATCH!"

Recently, Steve Mayo asked me if I could paint the legendary, Mercurial, and maybe even supranormal, Sasquatch or Bigfoot. "Sasquatch? Booga booga! No problem at all." I phoned a friend, Joe Fex, in Colorado; one who is truly adroit in Bigfoot, Unidentified Flying Objects and the paranormal.¨ð I learned plenty about Bigfoot in that two hour conversation.

My client was taken by the super iconic Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin film and wanted to stay near that image. The film shows a female sasquatch and after some thought I decided to paint my rendition as a male. Right or wrong, I was pleased with the outcome.
