"Windmills of Kamenka"

Windmills dotted any number colony landscapes.  Steve Schreiber e-mailed an image of Volga German windmills, and the painting was started soon after.

A Kamenka map shows windmills on the southwest and northeast sides of the colony.  It was only natural to paint the architecture of the windmills with the Catholic Church in the distance.  Somehow, I just could not resist painting the ubiquitous camels in mid distance!
