From the Collection of Laura and David Zeller, Dayton, Ohio.

A good friend and client, Jeff Tate, wanted a painting of Peru's Inca wonder Machu Picchu. In 1996 Jeff's daughter Laura was enrolled in a high school zoology class sponsored by the Cincinnati Zoo. The students traveled to Peru and as an additional gift Jeff took Laura to Machu Picchu.

Jeff sent images and Sunell Koerner designed several "comps". With different sections of the ruins, the local passenger train, the red Cock of the Rock bird and "Jeff's" llama, he agreed on the final design. The painting was easy to do and with a few minor additions the painting was finished and presented as a wedding gift to Laura and husband David Zeller.
